Lk 17:11-19 "...'Ten were cleansed, were they not? Where are the other nine? Has none but this foreigner returned to give thanks to God?" Then he said to him, "Stand up and go; your faith has saved you."'
Many Go to mass, not as many Pray the mass. Just like the 9 healed lepers, all receive grace. It is impossible to be in God's presence and not receive grace. Only one received Faith.
His faith was a gift that he cooperated with, that he acted upon.
The 9 were passive, receiving the gift, but not participating.
We received a gift at our Baptism. Do we participate, cooperate, act with the gift?
We receive a gift at Holy Communion. Do we participate, cooperate, act with the gift?
One way to participate, is Thanksgiving after mass. Stay for a few extra minutes. Silently sit at the feet of Our Lord. Soak in His gift and say ,"Thank You." Then, He will say, " Stand up and go; your faith has saved you."'
