Pray for an increase in Eucharistic Adoration.
Jn 13:21-33, 36-38 Jesus answered him, “Where I am going, you cannot follow me now, though you will follow later.” Peter said to Him, “Master, why can I not follow You now? I will lay down my life for You.” Jesus answered, “Will you lay down your life for Me? Amen, amen, I say to you, the cock will not crow before you deny Me three times.”
We are all familiar with this statement to Simon Peter, "Amen, amen, I say to you, the cock will not crow before you DENY Me three times.” Do we ever put ourselves in the place of St. Peter? If we examine our choices and our decisions yesterday, did we DENY Him? In little ways, did we DENY Him? Was there a selfish act? Is there that one person we can not forgive? Did an uncharitable word slip from our lips?
Today is a new day. God has blessed us with yet another chance to grow in holiness; yet another opportunity to become His saint. Do we take it? CONFESSION ADORATION MEDITATION
