Mk 2:23-28

As Jesus was passing through a field of grain on the sabbath, his disciples began to make a path while picking the heads of grain. At this the Pharisees said to him, “Look, why are they doing what is unlawful on the sabbath?”

Let our response be, "Come, you are obviously hungry, come eat with us."

-How is it that the Pharisees noticed? If they did not believe in Jesus, why were they following them?

-Why did they feel it was necessary to confront Jesus?

Questions to ponder. Then we should ask the Lord to show us how we are like a Pharisee?

We must always look inward first. At the moment we feel the urge to judge, pray What are you trying to teach me Lord? What is in me that makes me notice? Please Lord, help me to change. I desire the grace to grow in virtue.
