Whenever we hear a teaching from The Church or a homily DO WE think , "Whoever listens to you listens to ME?" Whenever we contemplate our acceptance of a Church teaching DO WE remember, "Whoever rejects you rejects ME." Whenever we state our opinion on a teaching of The Church, DO WE realize, " whoever rejects ME rejects THE ONE who sent ME?"
Unlike the other creatures that GOD has created, HE has blessed us with Wisdom and Knowledge. HE allows us to contemplate and use reason. HE gives us free will. How do we use that free will?
Do we value the responsibility of free will? " it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment than for you." With knowledge comes responsibility. "Will you be exalted to heaven? [Will] you go down to the netherworld?"
