Ps 27 One thing I ask of the LORD; this I seek: To dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, That I may gaze on the loveliness of the LORD and contemplate His temple.

With eyes, hearts and minds raised to Heaven, let us live everyday as if it is our last. Let us live everyday as if we are going Home.
From today's first reading (1 Thes 5:1-6, 9-11) "For you yourselves know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief at night."
We do not know when this joyful day will come. We do not know the hour we will be called Home. "Therefore, let us not sleep as the rest do, but let us stay alert and sober."
"Therefore, encourage one another and build one another up" and live praying "One thing I ask of the LORD; this I seek: To dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, that I may gaze on the loveliness of the LORD and contemplate His temple."
