Let us pray for the protection of priests.
Mk 7:24-30
"Jesus went to the district of Tyre. He entered a house and wanted no one to know about it, but He could not escape notice."
We must set aside time, everyday, for meditation. We need a quiet place, a prayer space, with a crucifix, and possibly a candle, and maybe sacred art.
Have you noticed that as you arrive at church, you may smile and greet people and stop for a chat? Yet, as soon as you open the door to the sanctuary a peace rushes over you? You realize you are entering into a special place, a Holy place? That is what your prayer space can be for you.
Life will rush in soon enough, but like Jesus, we need to find that quiet space; that sacred silence, that allows us to start our day focused on the Lord.
We all need a prayer space. A place to "escape notice" and be with The Lord.
Saints Cyril and Methodius, pray for us.
