He is Forgiving AND He Requites

The 2nd promise, of the Sacred Heart of Jesus: I will establish peace in their homes.

Ps 99 O LORD, our God, you answered them; a forgiving God you were to them, though requiting their misdeeds.

R. Holy is the Lord our God.

We must never take for granted the Mercy and Forgiveness of God. Yes, He is Forgiving AND He Requites our misdeeds. Yes, we are Forgiven through the Sacrament of Confession AND we receive a Penance. No good parent Forgives a child without teaching/ Requiting. So much more so with Our Heavenly Father. He is Forgiving AND He Requites our misdeeds.
