1 Jn 2:3-11
Again, St. John calls to us: Beloved
Again, he shows us how to live as God's Beloved
"The way we may be sure that we know him is to keep His commandments."
- whoever keeps his word, the love of God is truly perfected in him
-This is the way we may know that we are in union with him
- whoever claims to abide in him ought to live just as he lived.
Keep His commandments Unite ourselves to Him Live as He lived
Uniting ourselves to Him, through meditation, helps us to know Him, and to be strengthened to keep His commandments. Then we will desire to live as He lived.
