Lk 9:43b-45 While they were all amazed at HIS every deed, JESUS said to HIS disciples, “Pay attention to what I am telling you. The Son of Man is to be handed over to men.” But they did not understand this saying; its meaning was hidden from them and they were afraid to ask HIM about this saying.
PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT I AM TELLING YOU. Jesus could not be any clearer - LISTEN, PAY ATTENTION.
We only really LISTEN to those we value and trust. Do we LISTEN to GOD?
When we LISTEN, in prayer and in scripture, do we ASK? If we are unsure, do we ASK for clarification?
Are we AFRAID to approach HIM? Is HE a trusted friend? Have we cultivated a relationship with HIM?
We must LISTEN. We must PAY ATTENTION. We must ASK. We must not be AFRAID.
Jer 17:7 "Blessed are those who trust in the LORD; the LORD will be their trust."
