Let us pray for all who are discerning the Priesthood and Religious life.
Sir 1:1-10
All wisdom comes from the LORD and with Him it remains forever, and is before all time.
Before all things else wisdom was created; and prudent understanding
The word of God on high is the fountain of wisdom
He created her through the Holy Spirit,
He has lavished her upon His friends.
Each day, we hear of one more absurd statement from elected and religious leaders. We watch as the most unintelligible arguments are spread. Why? Because we have allowed evil to permeate our world. God's Wisdom is clouded- by us, not by Him.
His Wisdom is eternal, and "He has lavished her upon His friends."
"He has poured her forth upon all His works, upon every living thing according to His bounty;"
Wisdom still remains. It will always be. We need only to return our eyes and our hearts to Him, and He will reveal her - Wisdom.
Pray for Wisdom - the highest gift of the Holy Spirit. It makes the soul responsive to God and directs the mind to judge all things according to their principles.
