Jn 3:31-36

The Father loves the Son and has given everything over to Him. Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever disobeys the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God remains upon him.

God is Merciful: The Lord, the Lord God, merciful and gracious, long suffering, and abounding in goodness and truth, keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin Ex 34:6-7

With the merciful You will show Yourself merciful 2 Sam 22:26

The Lord is gracious and full of compassion, slow to anger and great in mercy. The Lord is good to all, and His tender mercies are over all His works. Ps 144:8-9

Yes, He is Merciful. He is also Just and Charitable. Let us never take for granted God's Mercy. If a parent does not correct and discipline their child, that child becomes selfish and self absorbed. If we, as fallen creatures know this, how much greater is the wisdom of God. He is Merciful. His Mercy is perfect, therefore it is Just and Charitable. "whoever disobeys the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God remains upon him."
