NEVER

Lk 9:51-56 ...When the disciples James and John saw this they asked, “Lord, do you want us to call down fire from heaven to consume them?” Jesus turned and REBUKED them

There are times when the charitable thing to do is to CORRECT another. That may be the truest sign of Love. BUT, we are NEVER to desire the destruction of another.

"For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth" (1 Tim. 2:3-4).

"The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance" (2 Pet. 3:9).

We are NEVER to desire the destruction of another. The harder it is to love someone, the more we must pray for them.

If Jesus could continue to Love those who scourged HIM, surely we can pray for those who seem unlovable.

If Jesus could continue to Love those who drove the nails into HIS hands and feet, surely we can pray for those who seem unredeemable.

We are NEVER to desire the destruction of another.

PRAYER SACRIFICE FASTING

St.Therese of the Child Jesus, pray for us. "I prefer the monotony of obscure sacrifice to all ecstasies. To pick up a pin for love can convert a soul."
