not WHAT we do, but WHY we do!

Rom 4:13, 16-18 For this reason, it depends on FAITH, so that it may be a gift, and the promise may be guaranteed to all his descendants, not to those who only adhere to the law but to those who follow the FAITH of Abraham

It is not WHAT we do, but WHY we do! If we go to mass because we HAVE TO, then we have an immature FAITH. That was fine when we were a child, but we are no longer a child. We must Desire to spend time with GOD. We must Hunger for a Relationship with HIM.

If we only "say our prayers" and not PRAY our prayers, then we have an immature FAITH. That was fine when we were a child, but we are no longer a child. We must Desire to spend time with GOD. We must Hunger for a Relationship with HIM.

FAITH - CCC 143 " man completely submits his intellect and his will to God. With his whole being man gives his assent to God the revealer. Sacred Scripture calls this human response to God, the author of revelation, "the obedience of faith".

" completely submits", "gives his assent", these are not immature acts. FAITH in GOD is a choice, supported by a supernatural GIFT of grace, to grow in Relationship.

It is not WHAT we do, but WHY we do!

St. Paul of the Cross, pray for us.
