Let us pray for priests.
Psalm 48
O God, we ponder Your mercy within Your temple. As Your name, O God, so also Your praise reaches to the ends of the earth. Of justice Your right hand is full.
The Lord has placed before us many physical spiritual aids: monstrance, tabernacle, statues, sacred art, and beautiful churches. All of which can lead us to a deeper relationship with God. We simply need to ponder. We need to set aside time, everyday, to soak in The Lord; allow His beauty to wash over us. Let us search for sacred silence, in sacred beauty, and ponder.
Mary, Queen of Priests, pray for us.
“Mary is in a special manner Queen and Mother of priests. Because of their resemblance to her divine Son, Our Lady sees Jesus in each one of them. She loves them not only as members of the mystical body, but on account of the priestly character imprinted on their souls, and for the sacred mysteries which they celebrate in persona Christi.” -Bl Columba Marmion, OSB
