Lk 11:47-54 When Jesus left, the scribes and Pharisees began to act with hostility toward HIM and to interrogate HIM about many things, for they were plotting to catch HIM at something HE might say.
SO much anger and hostility from the scribes and Pharisees. Do we act the same way when we hear a homily we do not like? Do we gather with others and point out the errors or insensitivity? Do we act the same way when The Church teaches something we do not like? Do we begin to agree with others who say The Church is out dated?
What should we do? PRAY ASK LISTEN Pray for Peace. Anger is very rarely helpful. Ask for Understanding. Clarification. Listen with our ears, our hearts and our soul. When we take anger to GOD, HE will Answer/ Explain/Clarify. Sometimes we are angry because we have misunderstood. Sometimes we are angry because these words have poked us, and GOD has given us the opportunity to heal. Sometimes we are angry and GOD is the only WAY/TRUTH/LIFE
