Novena to Divine Mercy: Today bring to Me the meek and humble souls and the souls of little children, and immerse them in My mercy.
Acts 3:1-10 Then Peter took him by the right hand and raised him up, and immediately his feet and ankles grew strong. He leaped up, stood, and walked around, and went into the temple with them, walking and jumping and praising God. When all the people saw him walking and praising God, they recognized him as the one who used to sit begging at the Beautiful Gate of the temple, and they were filled with amazement and astonishment at what had happened to him.
-This healing miracle should be a story on everyone's lips. Just 2 days ago, we read Mt28:8-15, where the chief priests conspired with the roman guards to spread a lie about the resurrection of Jesus, and that lie continues to this day.
How quickly people will believe a human lie and yet doubt God's miracles. How quickly people trust the answer to science or a coincidence and not find the answer as God or a Godincidence.
This is one of the things that SHOULD set us apart as Catholic Christians, and why we SHOULD look different than the world. We SHOULD always see God. We SHOULD always find our answers in God. There are miracles everyday- big and small. We SHOULD notice and we SHOULD believe.
Let us pray that God will open our eyes, that we may see Him in our day, and that we will not excuse away a Godincidence.
Jesus Christ is risen, ALLELUIA
