Sit and a chat

Lk 5:17-26 "...And some men brought on a stretcher a man who was paralyzed; they were trying to bring him in and set him in his presence. But not finding a way to bring him in because of the crowd, they went up on the roof and lowered him on the stretcher through the tiles into the middle in front of Jesus. When Jesus saw their faith, he said, “As for you, your sins are forgiven.” Then the scribes and Pharisees began to ask themselves, “Who is this who speaks blasphemies? Who but God alone can forgive sins?”

Satan is the Prince of Lies and Half truths.

The question from the Pharisees seems prudent, but we know they were not seeking TRUTH. They had closed themselves off from God.

How do we know the TRUTH? How do we remain OPEN to God?

Through daily meditation.

We must cultivate our relationship with God: Learn at the School of Mary, Sit at the feet of Jesus, Kneel before the Cross. When we spend time with God, every day, we will know His voice. We will recognize His guidance. His TRUTH will grow in our hearts, refresh our souls, strengthen our will and inspire our knowledge.

Today, sit for 20 minutes. Call upon the Holy Spirit. Invite God into relationship. Allow Him to speak to you through scripture. Then ask Him what He wants you to learn today.

He is waiting. Invite Him as you would invite any friend. Sit and a chat.

Then, you will be open to THE TRUTH.
