Lk 14:15-24 "For, I tell you, none of those men who were invited will taste my dinner.”
STRONG WORDS. JESUS is loving AND merciful AND charitable. HE is SO loving, that HE doesn't want us to sin. HE is SO merciful, that HE doesn't want us to trust only ourselves. HE is SO charitable, that HE doesn't want us to miss out on Heaven. STRONG WORDS are necessary when we are dealing with ETERNITY.
HEAVEN- we don't just stroll in. GOD cannot be in the presence of sin, and HE wants to be in our presence. Each time we turn from HIS teaching, we turn from HIM. Each time we turn from HIS church, we turn from HIM. Each time we turn from HIS invitation, we turn from HIM.
Let us never take HIS love AND HIS mercy AND HIS charity for granted. Let us never take eternity for granted.
