Take them aside

Jesus Christ is risen, ALLELUIA

Acts 18:23-28 A Jew named Apollos, a native of Alexandria, an eloquent speaker, arrived in Ephesus. He was an authority on the Scriptures. He had been instructed in the Way of the Lord and, with ardent spirit, spoke and taught accurately about Jesus, although he knew only the baptism of John. He began to speak boldly in the synagogue; but when Priscilla and Aquila heard him, they took him aside and explained to him the Way of God more accurately.

I often hear, "He/She is a really nice person, even though they don't go to church." And that is where things stop. There are MANY good people, there are MANY, in other faiths, who know scripture and are good people. God can and does work in anyway He can to bring His children home. We, by our Baptism, are called to help in the Work of God. Do not leave a person to be simply a nice person- Take them aside and share the Truth more fully.

- "they took him aside and explained to him the Way of God more accurately."

Do not leave a person with part of the Truth - Take them aside and share the Truth more fully.

- "they took him aside and explained to him the Way of God more accurately."

Today, let us ask God if there is someone to whom we can share the Truth more fully. Simply ask, He will do the rest.

- they took him aside and explained to him the Way of God more accurately."

St. Justin, pray for us. At Rome he sealed his testimony with his blood, surrounded by his disciples in 165. “Do you think,” the prefect said to Justin, “that by dying you will enter heaven, and be rewarded by God?” “I do not think,” was the Saint’s answer; “I know.”
