Pray for the souls of deceased priests- holy men of God.
Ps 1
Blessed the man who follows not the counsel of the wicked Nor walks in the way of sinners, nor sits in the company of the insolent, But delights in the law of the LORD and meditates on his law day and night.
Our focus is ALL WRONG. We worry about what people think of us, we don't want to hurt anyone's feelings, we want to FIT IN. Do we really want to FIT IN to a fallen world? Our focus should only be toward HEAVEN.
For most people, if we set The Bar low, they will only live up to The Bar. This is also true in our Spiritual lives. If we set The Bar low, if we let others set The Bar, then we may only live up to That Bar- The Bar of the wicked, of sinners, and of the insolent. God has set The Bar high, and we must desire to live up to THAT BAR- The Bar of the Saints, and of Jesus Christ.
Delight in the law of the LORD and meditate on His law day and night.
Let us resolve today to meditate on one way we can change our focus; one way we can live UP to His Bar.
