"...a man full of leprosy,... saw Jesus, he fell prostrate, pleaded with Him,.... Jesus stretched out His hand, touched Him, and said, “I do will it. Be made clean.” And the leprosy left him immediately. ...The report about Him spread all the more, and great crowds assembled to listen to Him ...but He would withdraw to deserted places to pray."
This is how we too are to live.
We are to approach those who need God's healing. We are to walk with them; have a relationship with them. (Jesus touched him).
We are to share the truth. God's living faith is not to stay hidden in our hearts. He wants us to share the Good News. (report about Him spread all the more, and great crowds assembled to listen to Him).
We are to prepare ourselves for this work through prayer: 20 minutes, in silence, with the scriptures. Having a daily conversation with God will be all the preparation you need. Eph 1:8
"I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling" (He would withdraw to deserted places to pray).
Walk with others, Share God's truth with others, Prepare for your mission with prayer.
Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us.
