Novena to Divine Mercy: Today bring to Me the souls who especially venerate and glorify My Mercy and immerse them in My mercy.
Lk 24:35-48 The disciples of Jesus recounted what had taken place along the way, and how they had come to recognize Him in the breaking of bread.
Do we? Do we "recognize Him in the breaking of bread?" Do we casually receive Him in Holy Communion, or do we reverently approach the Banquet Feast? Do we realize that we are standing/kneeling on Holy Ground? We are given a precious gift - the Eucharist. We are permitted to approach the King of the Universe, we are permitted to say Yes/Amen, we are permitted to be His Holy Tabernacle, and we are permitted to be intimately united with The Lord.
Let us take time today to meditate on "they had come to recognize Him in the breaking of bread."
