Sacred Heart of Jesus
Is 49:1-6 Though I thought I had toiled in vain, and for nothing, uselessly, spent my strength, yet my reward is with the LORD, my recompense is with my God. For now the LORD has spoken who formed me as His servant from the womb
We often will not know the impact we have on another. We pray, and WE WAIT. We serve, and WE WAIT. We sacrifice, and WE WAIT. But that is OK, because "my recompense is with my God." We do all of this For Him, and on His Timetable, so WE WAIT. Since we do not often know the impact we have when we CHOOSE to have impact, let us also be aware that we often will not know the impact we have when we are UNAWARE that God is choosing to use us: in line at the store, at work, in prayer... We are ALWAYS a Witness for Christ. We are ALWAYS having an impact. As we begin our day in prayer, as we go through our daily life, let us always ask ourselves, "What Would Jesus Think?" What kind of an IMPACT are we having?
