Let us pray for our priests.
Mk 8:27-33
"Then, taking him aside, Peter tried to rebuke Him. But, turning and seeing His disciples, He rebuked Peter and said to him, 'Get behind me, Satan! You are thinking not as God thinks, but as human beings do.'"
We must always be careful: -When we try to soften church teaching, to make it more palatable to others -When we try to conform the church to the world -When we think we know more then our church leaders -When we criticize our priest -When we give our opinion of what God means
We must be careful that Jesus does not rebuke us too. "Get behind me, Satan! You are thinking not as God thinks, but as human beings do."
