Where charity and love prevail

Pray for the conversion of all who work in abortion mills.

Mt 5:43-48 Jesus said to his disciples: “You have heard that it was said, You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy. But I say to you, love your enemies, and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your heavenly Father,"

CCC 1822 Charity is the theological virtue by which we love God above all things for his own sake, and our neighbor as ourselves for the love of God.

CCC 1813 Theological virtues are infused by God into the souls of the faithful to make them capable of acting as His children and of meriting eternal life.

So, again, "love your enemies, and pray for those who persecute you". This may seem impossible, and without God it is. God has given us, infused in us, the strength to love as He loves. This is the will of God.

Resolve today to love someone who seems unlovable. Call on the strength of God, and offer a prayer for their soul.

"Where charity and love prevail, there God is ever found; Brought here together by Christ’s love, by love are we thus bound."

Our Lady of Fatima, pray for us.
